This page explains which cookies and local storage the Stay Unique website uses. The short answer: we have no tracking cookies and no analytics.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. The browser's local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way, holding preferences. Both help the page remember things like your chosen language, so you don't have to set it again every time.
We don't track you
The website has no Google Analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking tools. We don't build a profile of you or share data with advertising networks.
What we store
All local storage stays in your own browser and is used only to make the page work:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| lang | localStorage | Remembers your chosen language | Until deleted |
| cookie_consent | localStorage | Remembers your choice in the cookie notice so it isn't shown again | Until deleted |
These are essential for the page to work according to your preferences. We don't store any other information on your device.
Third-party services
Some external services the page uses may set their own cookies or receive technical data from your device (such as your IP address) in order to work. We use these services to keep the page running, not to track you:
| Service | What for | When |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Loads the site's typefaces | On every page load |
| flagcdn.com | Shows flag icons in the language and country selector | On every page load |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Blocks spam in the contact form (when enabled) | When using the form |
| Photon (Komoot / OpenStreetMap) | Provides address suggestions in the form | When entering the address |
| Web3Forms | Delivers the contact form content | When the form is submitted |
These services are responsible for their own data processing. If you wish, you can review their terms on the provider's own website.
How to manage cookies
Since we use no tracking cookies, you don't need to allow anything separately to use the page. If you want to delete saved preferences, you can do so in your browser settings, where local storage and cookies can be cleared. After clearing, the page sees you as a new visitor and the cookie notice appears again.
Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely. In that case the language preference may not be remembered, but otherwise the page keeps working.

How we process personal data is described in more detail in our privacy policy.
